Lehi Round-Up

During the last week of June we spent some time going to some of the activities during the Lehi celebration week. Jaxon, Blaine and Garrett enjoyed the parades. We went to the rodeo with Blaine and Linda and Calvin and Gloria. The boys loved the motorcycle show and collecting mini American flags.

On Saturday, Troy ran in the Round up 5k 29.56 min. Francine and Jaxon were at the finish line to cheer me on. Blaine and Garrett spent the weekend with cousins out at Grandma and Grandpa Marshall's. We all spent Saturday night camping at Grandma and Grandpa's. We roasted hotdog and made smores. And watched "National Treasure 2" on the big screen outside. Everyone had a great time.

After all, its a small world...

Got up for work this morning to a toasty 6 degrees! Just last week we were swimming in the outside pool after a long day at the "happiest place on earth." We had a great time at Disneyland. Our story begins like this... After our wonderful stay in our $20 motel in Mesquite, NV. (Yikes) We arrived in sunny California. We drove to Newport beach to let the boys play in the sand and water. After which, we filled our bellies, with chowder from the clam, at Sharky's.

Most all of Troy's family were at Disneyland with us. We tried to partake of all the rides. The shows and fireworks were spectacular. Blaine and Garrett enjoyed trading Disney pins with the park employees. I think Jaxon was in sensory overload. He didn't want to get anywhere near the Disney characters, however, he would gladly wave goodbye and blow kisses. It was a great time and we created some great memories.

On the way back we spent the night in Las Vegas. After a buffet of clams and shrimp, we walked up and down the strip until the boys could a step no further take. Jaxon entertained all with his own little dance routine to the music blaring outside the Coyote Ugly Bar.

Sitting here watching the snow come in sideways, I think we should go again, but next time I'm spending $25 on a hotel!

Well we had a great Christmas. We would like to thank everyone for the wonderful card and gifts. Lannie thank you for taking our family picure for the Christmas cards...We would like to thank the Clarks for the audio card, Jaxon loves it, Mom and Dad are hoping the batteries wear out soon! We had Blaine and Garrett with us this year. We gave them a trip to Disneyland, we leave January 8, 2008. Here's hoping for warmer weather!


For New Years Eve Francine, Jaxon and myself went to the Haycocks. We had pizza, played games and were home in bed by 10:30 pm. We are Party Animals! We hope everyone has a great 2008!

... We are getting ready for Christmas! Francine and Jaxon have been sick over the last couple of days. We are hope they are both better soon!

Tucker the wonder dog

This is our new dog, Tucker. He is a Papillon. These dogs are known for thier large butterfly ears...Charley now has a friend, but I wouldn't call them "bff."
